Showrunners want to surprise the audience, but I also know that fans should be able to look back, connect the dots and think, oh, of course. Kurt Sutter set the stage for a farewell Opie. You may not want to be Opie, but are you surprised? Opie admitted he was not sure he was capable of loving anyone when he gave his ex $ 20,000 for the care of children in last week's episode. He said it would be out of town and was not sure when he will return. He deteriorated at the club, but Jax is your friend - that's what he wanted to protect himself when he threw himself in prison and then played in a game of death. Maybe Jax is the only person Opie remembers how to love.
