Mitt Romney Wants U.S. Military Not Involved in Syria

Florida, United States presidential candidate (U.S.) Republican Mitt Romney criticized President Barack Obama's policy that prioritizes diplomacy in Syria. However, Romney did not agree if U.S. troops immediately deployed to Syria to address the ongoing violence.

"I do not want our military involved in Syria. I think it is not an urgent need to deploy army there in times like this, I also did not anticipate in the future," Romney said as quoted by Reuters on Tuesday .

Romney alluded truce efforts fail, which is initiated by the UN special envoy Kofi Annan Arab League some time ago. Romney called on the United States must be able to demonstrate a very serious leadership in Syria.
